Vibrant red purple color. Lots of black fruit such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and hints of herbs and balsamic. In the mouth, its meaty character is even more pronounced. Rich, round and mineral style that can use some time to mature and reveal its full finesse.
Its firm and meaty character is best suited to strong flavors such as game (doe or wild boar), matured meat, lamb, savory sausages or blood tripe.

The grapes are only picked in the 2nd week of October. Strict selection with low yields. After maceration, fermentation is started under controlled temperatures. It then rests for another six months on French oak to gain in complexity and finesse.
