Deep ruby color Rhubarb, red cherries and peppery spice flavors are complimented by mushrooms and other earthy aroma's . Well concentrated with a full, yet soft mouth feel. Fresh and juicy during it's deep and linguering finish.

Excellent to complement oily fishes, salmon, tuna, any white meat, risottos and salads.

climate

Mediterranean climate, with a strong maritime influence, due to the proximity of the Pacific Ocean and Maipo river. The mist in the early hours of the day assures low temperatures which dissipate later on, opening to higher temperatures, regulated by the coastal breezes in the afternoon.

soil

Piedmont soil of the Coastal Mountain range: granitic of origine with a clay loam texture.

vinification

Hand-picked grapes, followed by a strict reselection on the sorting table. Cold prefermentative maceration takes 14 days. The juice is then inoculated with selected yeasts and fermented in open tanks, using pigeage. It's malolactic fermentation ihappens in French oak barrels. 100% of the wine ages in these French oak barrels during 10 months.
