picture of

Shiny, cherry red color. In the nose we discover red berries, blackberries, lavender, licorice and fine Provencal herbs. The mouth is remarkably elegant, mineral and blessed with a delicate complexity that keeps the wine unusually captivating. The final is therefore long and challenging and incredibly refined for a Garnacha.

This fine yet characterful Garnacha style tastes best with a nice piece of red meat, lamb, spicy stews and medium-aged cheeses.

climate

Extreme continental microclimate. The summers can be dry and warm and the winters can be very cold. Due to the high altitude, the temperature differences here can be extreme. The altitude also ensures sufficient and regular precipitation.

soil

The Garnacha comes from a single vineyard, La Loma, located in Valdehorna (Zaragoza) at an altitude of no less than 900 to 1000m. Located on the flanks of Santa Cruz (2350m), the 2nd highest mountain in Aragon. Dry Farming and hand picked grapes.

vinification

The grapes are picked at night or early in the morning. The fermentation is started in large oak barrels on local yeasts. Fermentation without further intervention. The wine then matures for another year on a mix of used French oak barrels.
