Deep, dark, garnet red color. Aromas of raisins, prunes, blueberries and sweet spices. Intense taste, beautiful structure and warm character that presents itself at the same time firm and yet velvety. Long, complex and luscious finish.
Hearty meat dishes, game preparations and aged cheeses. Could also be enjoyed without any food as one of the most impressive wines in Italy.

-
Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara are picked at optimum maturity and left to dry in "Fruttaio" for 90 to 120 days. The dried grapes are then pressed and the fermentation started. The wine is then aged for at least 2 years in wooden barrels before being bottled.
