Cantine San Giorgio is a historic winery in the Salento area, founded in 1962 as a cooperative. After careful consideration, the Tinazzi family bought it in 2011 with the hope and intention of providing continuity to the wine-making projects it had embarked upon, maximising the potential of typical vine varieties. With its purchase of Cantine San Giorgio in Apulia, they launched a project in one of the most productive regions of Italy, one that, especially in recent years, has stood out for the new improvement in its quality of grapes and, consequently, its wines. The wines in this line are classic and well-known Apulian wines, developed with the aim of researching the very best quality levels. The results lie in the excellent wines, featuring high alcohol content and good body, reflected also in the prestigious awards they have won.
